Peace of mind starts at home. That’s why Salinas Valley Health Service
League is proud to connect members of the community with Lifeline, a medical
alert system that enables individuals to live independently, confident,
and peace of mind for family members.
Individuals who enroll through Salinas Valley Health Service League Lifeline are able to receive special discounted rates. We have discounted rates for members of Aspire Health and Individuals who are low income.

Lifeline offers devices designed to keep you safe and connected. All devices provide a waterproof help button with 24/7 access to care specialists. The On the Go Mini is a lightweight wearable with GPS and has fall detection for help anytime. The Lifeline Smartwatch combines a help button, GPS, fall detection, heart rate monitor, and step tracking to support your active lifestyle.

About the devices
Some of the devices feature GPS tracking, fall detection, and are waterproof. You always have access to a trained care specialist, and this is included in your monthly subscription.
Smartwatch device
The Lifeline Smartwatch helps you stay active and independent. It has a built-in help button that connects you quickly to a trained care specialist. With GPS location tracking, you can get assistance wherever you are. The watch also monitors your heart rate and counts your steps to support a healthy lifestyle. Its simple design keeps you connected to help 24/7.
On the Go Mini device
It uses GPS only when needed to help emergency responders locate you, whether you're at home or on the go. Built-in fall detection can automatically call for help if you take a hard fall and can't press the button.
HomeSafe
The HomeSafe medical alert system offers reliable safety at home at an affordable price. Wear the waterproof help button around the house to get help anytime day or night. With one press you connect directly to a trained care specialist. The system can use your home phone line or a dependable cellular network. You can choose the option that works best for you. A landline is not required.
On the Go
The On the Go mobile solution gives you fast access to help 24/7, wherever you are. The lightweight, all-in-one help button can be worn around your neck or on a belt clip and includes built-in GPS to help responders find you quickly, whether you're at home or out and about.

Who is Lifeline for?
Lifeline is for individuals who wants to feel safe and secure at home. It is not just for older adults. Individuals of any age living with a disability or a health condition can benefit from having our quick service.
Will I lose my independence if I use Lifeline?
Not at all. Lifeline supports your independence. It lets you stay in your
home, knowing help is always just a button press away. You press your
Personal Help Button when you need assistance. You tell us who you want
us to call if you need help. Fall detection feature can also be included
and will automatically call for help if you are unable to press the button.
Who answers when I call?
If you need emergency help, your call goes straight to caring, trained
professionals at the Lifeline Emergency Response Center. Their sole focus
is to listen and get you the assistance you need quickly. Meanwhile, local
representatives and volunteers from Salinas Valley Health Service League
handle installation, billing, and equipment maintenance.
How much does the service cost?
Fees start as low as .57 cents per day to $2.07 depending on serves which includes installation, maintenance, and unlimited use. The monthly fee will never change unless you choose to change your product. No long-term contracts are required.
Is lifeline complicated to use?
It’s easier than using a phone. Just press your Personal Help Button, and the device will call the Lifeline Response Center. Within seconds, you’ll be talking to a responder who already has all your important information right in front of them.
