Grant and Sponsorship Eligibility

Proposed program/project/event should meet at least two of the items listed below:

• Address one or more needs in Salinas Valley Health’s Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) and Implementation Strategy.
• Program/project/event must serve community members in Monterey County
• Event theme and purpose must align with Salinas Valley Health’s mission and vision of promoting health and wellness in the communities we serve.
• Non-profit 501(c)(3) or organization with a non-profit fiscal agent
• Documented nondiscrimination policies with regard to target populations, employees, and volunteers.

Application Process

Please note that a minimum of four weeks is required for submission. Prospective applicants are encouraged to review the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) and Implementation Strategy. Our goal is to improve health outcomes for community members in our region. These resources can help convey how your organization’s project/event will make a healthful impact on our community.
