August 23, 2022 - Giving to others makes you feel good. It feels even better when your gift has a double benefit.

Salinas Valley Health is proud to provide financial support for local non-profits that focus on the health and well-being. We believe strongly in the value of collaboration in helping our community rise.

Through our partnership with Rancho Cielo Youth Campus, we are pleased to give a gift to our staff and volunteers each year that is also an investment in a brighter future for at-risk youth in Monterey County.

We distribute more than 3100 boxes packed full of the Salinas Valley’s freshest fruits and vegetables as a gesture of appreciation for our team’s dedication. And, it’s a gift we feel good about giving because it supports a nationally-recognized learning and social services center that has been changing lives for nearly two decades.

Rancho Cielo has an impressive record of success. It’s a testament to the power of collaboration to help struggling youth build their confidence through education, job-training and employment.

Visitors to Rancho Cielo might notice the sign letting them know they are passing through the gates of opportunity. At Salinas Valley Health, we look forward each year to our opportunity to support this outstanding nonprofit. It’s a celebration of our staff, the quality of Central Coast produce and the strength of our community.

The next time you give a gift, consider one that gives back. Gifts with a dual purpose of benefitting a good cause go far in raising awareness about the power of giving.

Be safe and be well.
