Alison A. Wilson, DO

About the provider

Currently serving as Chief of Staff and Co-Director of the Hospitalist program at Salinas Valley Health, Alison Wilson, DO, MPH, is a family medicine physician and hospitalist with extensive experience working with patients of all ages.

She earned her doctor of osteopathy degree from Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine while also working to complete a master of public health degree from George Washington University, focused on maternal and child health. Dr. Wilson completed her residency through the Natividad Medical Center Family Residency Program, which emphasizes inpatient and obstetric care in addition to ambulatory family medicine. In that position, she also served as Chief of Education.

A highly-engaged member of the hospitalist team at Salinas Valley Health, Dr. Wilson has a compassionate approach to patient care and coordinates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes. Her extensive experience in both family medicine and hospital medicine allows her to manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, supporting patients and their families through every stage of inpatient care at the medical center.

In 2004, Dr. Wilson was recognized with the prestigious Physician Excellence in Service and Professionalism Award at Salinas Valley Health. This honor is bestowed based on nominations from staff and fellow physicians.
