Board Meeting Public Comment Procedures (English)
Members of the public may address the Board during the designated public comment periods of the Board meetings. Each public commenter is given a maximum of three (3) minutes to provide their comments. For those who wish to comment generally on any subject within the Board’s jurisdiction that is not tied to a specific agenda item, the Board Chair will provide an opportunity for general public comment at the beginning of each general meeting of the Board. For those who wish to comment on a specific agenda item, the Board Chair will provide an opportunity for public comment when the item is taken up for consideration. The Board Chair will first ask for public comment from in-person attendees. Those in-person attendees may stand up at that time and make their comments. After in-person comments are given, the Board Chair will then ask for public comment from Webex participants. Members of the public participating remotely through Webex may unmute their microphones at that time and provide their public comment. A member of the public may also submit written public comment to: publiccomment@salinasvalleyhealth.com
