you can manage your healthcare on your schedule—from requesting
appointments and viewing test results to communicating with your providers—all
from the comfort of your home or on the go.
With MyChart, you can:
- Request and view appointment details
- Meet providers via video for care at home or work
- Access test results, progress notes, imaging reports, surgery notes, discharge summaries and instructions electronically
- Pay bills and view account statements
- Request prescription refills
- Access information from Salinas Valley Health Clinics, Doctors on Duty, and Salinas Valley Health Medical Center in one location.
Appointment Management:
How do I change my appointment time?
You can’t change your appointment directly in MyChart. However, you can:
- Go to the “Visits” section from your MyChart home page.
- Find your appointment and view the details.
- You can either cancel the appointment or contact the clinic directly to reschedule.
How do I complete E-Check-In?
- E-Check-In can be done up to 7 days before your appointment.
- You’ll receive a notification (via MyChart, email, or text) with a link to complete the check-in.
- If you’re logging in directly to MyChart, click “Visits,” then go to “Future appointments.”
- You’ll see the E-Check-In option for appointments within the next 7 days. Just follow the prompts to complete the process.
Proxy Access and Communication
How do I set up Proxy Access (Adult to Adult)?
- From the home page, click the drop-down menu and go to the “Sharing” section.
- Select “Sharing Hub” and choose who you want to give access to (e.g., family, friends, or healthcare providers).
- You’ll then be able to decide how to share your medical information (e.g., granting ongoing access, sending a snapshot, or providing a formal copy).
- You can also find proxy forms on MyChart.org or ask any clinic staff member for help.
How do I locate letters?
- From the MyChart home page, click the drop-down menu and go to the “Communications” section.
- Select the “Letters” option, from there you can locate all letters associated with your account.
Billing & Financial Information
How do I locate billing information?
- From the MyChart home page, click the “Billing Summary” button.
- Or, go to the drop-down menu and select “Billing” for options like Billing Summary, Financial Assistance, or Estimates.
How does MyChart save me time?
- Complete questionnaires to reduce documentation time.
- Access test results as soon as they are available.
- Use messaging for quicker responses, reducing wait times.
