Cardiovascular Research
Cardiovascular Clinical Research Program at Salinas Valley Health
Salinas Valley Health is dedicated to cardiovascular research. Clinical trials give our cardiologists and their patients access to progressive forms of treatment, typically two to four years before they are available to the general public. Clinical trials are used to refine various types of treatments, including surgical procedures, catheterization procedures and devices for people with heart disease. Our research stands to benefit all cardiologists and patients by improving diagnosis and treatment.
Salinas Valley Health is currently participating in several research studies, some of which are enrolling new patients. Participants are selected for each trial based on specific criteria such as age, gender, type of heart condition, and other factors.

Salinas Valley Health is looking for individuals to participate in clinical studies. Participating in clinical trials allows you to play an active role in studies on the nature and causes of many disorders, and to possibly help physician-scientists develop future treatments.
