InQuicker™ is a online waiting service that enables individuals with non-life-threatening medical conditions to check in for projected treatment times prior to being seen by a healthcare professional at a medical facility.

Instead of sitting in the waiting room, InQuicker users enjoy the convenience and comfort of waiting at home. InQuicker users do not skip in front of other visitors and are seen based on the medical center's standard triage and queuing process.

How It Works

Log on, select a projected treatment time, and wait at home until your time to be seen.

If you have any of the following symptoms, call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest medical center emergency room:

  • Chest pain
  • Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
  • Sudden blurred vision, dizziness, weakness or loss of coordination/balance
  • Numbness in the arm, leg or face
  • Severe abdominal pain or headache
  • Bleeding that will not stop
  • Coughing up or vomiting blood
  • Severe burns or life-threatening injury
  • Seizures

Salinas Valley Health Medical Center's emergency room is open 24 hours every day. Appointments are not needed, although the most critically ill patients are usually treated first. Emergency room treatment for a condition that turns out not to be a true emergency is often covered at a lower rate.

The Emergency Department is a busy department with a lot of variety in the kinds of illness and seriousness of injury. InQuicker provides a projected treatment time and is not an appointment for treatment. Patients using InQuicker will benefit from having the projected treatment time and alerting Emergency Department staff of their arrival. Staff will work hard in all cases to see the patient as close as possible to the projected treatment time.
