About the provider

As a pediatrician with experience at Stanford Medicine Children’s Health and UCSF, Yvonne Yu, MD, specializes in the health and well-being of children from birth to adolescence. She provides a comprehensive range of services, including routine check-ups, diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, managing chronic conditions, and monitoring and supporting her young patients’ physical, mental and emotional development.

Dr. Yu earned her medical degree from the John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaiʻi and completed her residency in pediatrics at UC Irvine. Following that, Dr. Yu worked in general pediatrics at several clinics, including Stanford Children’s Health Bayside Medical Group, where she served for four years. Dr. Yu then joined UCSF Benioff’s Children’s Physician Group, where she was responsible for general pediatrics and newborn rounding.

Now at Salinas Valley Health PrimeCare, Dr. Yu is dedicated to providing the highest degree of care to her patients and their families through a comprehensive range of pediatric services.

When not working, Dr. Yu enjoys travel and a wide range of hobbies, including painting, piano, gardening, cooking, hiking, running and biking.
