About the provider

With extensive experience in hospitalist and clinical settings, Victor Delgado, MD, has a broad range of skills as a family medicine specialist.

He earned his medical degree from Universidad San Martín de Porres in Lima, Peru, followed by internship, residency and fellowship training in family medicine at Natividad Medical Center in Salinas, California.

Dr. Delgado is dedicated to continuous, comprehensive care and is committed to providing culturally sensitive, personalized treatment for underserved and rural populations. He tailors care plans to address each patient’s unique circumstances and challenges.

Early in his career, Dr. Delgado worked at a clinic in the Amazon, providing care to approximately 2,000 people. There, he launched a prenatal and preventive pediatric care program that helped reduce maternal and infant mortality rates.

Outside of work, Dr. Delgado explores the trails of Big Sur by hiking, running and biking. He also enjoys salsa music–both listening and dancing–watching soccer, and playing guitar.
