A specialist in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures and comprehensive diagnostic imaging, Shuaib Mohammad, MD, is a board-certified physician in diagnostic and interventional radiology with advanced fellowship training in interventional radiology.

He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 2015 and completed his internal medicine internship there in 2016.

He completed his diagnostic radiology residency with early specialization in interventional Radiology at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in 2021, then an interventional radiology fellowship at University of North Carolina Hospitals.

Dr. Mohammad is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology and previously practiced in both diagnostic and interventional radiology.

His interests include complex endovascular and hepatobiliary interventions, and he co-developed a percutaneous cholangioscopy program at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. during his residency.

He has authored abstracts and publications on thoracic duct embolization, hepatic neuroendocrine metastases, gallbladder drainage, and central venous interventions.

Dr. Mohammad co-founded Shifa Care Clinic in Augusta, Georgia, a volunteer-run nonprofit providing free preventive care to uninsured patients.
