Natalie M. Friedricks, MD

About the provider

Natalie Friedricks, MD, OB/GYN, specializes in pregnancy, endometriosis, fibroids, and perimenopause care. She is highly skilled in minimally invasive surgery and dedicated to advancing women’s health through clinical excellence, research and outreach.

Dr. Friedricks earned her medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine of USC, where she also completed a Master of Science in Global Medicine. As a National Science Foundation grant recipient, she studied global access to women’s healthcare.

Her clinical training includes a general surgery internship at the University of Washington followed by an OB/GYN residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, where she served as Chief OB/GYN and earned recognition as Reproductive Endocrinology Resident of the Year.

Dr. Friedricks has organized medical and surgical missions in Cambodia, Guatemala and Peru, collaborated with advocacy teams across the United States on global health issues, and served as president of the highly esteemed USC Student-Run Clinic.

A committed researcher, Dr. Friedricks has contributed to studies on maternal and neonatal health in Malawi, systems-level improvements in surgical care, and the use of AI in patient education. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national conferences.

Outside of work, Dr. Friedricks enjoys swimming, gardening, karaoke and learning Spanish.
