Vikram Patel, MD
Vikram Patel, MD, is a gastroenterologist and liver specialist serving at Salinas Valley Health. Born and raised in Salinas, he graduated from Salinas High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in molecular and cell biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and obtained his MD with high honors from Ross University School of Medicine in Barbados in 2015. Dr. Patel completed his internal medicine residency at Florida Atlantic University, where he served as chief resident and later as an assistant professor of medicine. He further specialized with a fellowship in gastroenterology and liver diseases at Cooper University Healthcare in New Jersey.
Fluent in English, Gujarati, and Spanish, Dr. Patel is passionate about serving his hometown community. He enjoys trail running, basketball, hiking and Mexican food.
