Jessica E. Ramirez, MD

About the provider

Board-certified internal medicine physician Jessica Ramirez, MD, has extensive experience in hospital-based care and compassionate, patient-centered practice. Her background spans clinical practice, aviation medicine, and medical education, with a strong commitment to improving patient well-being and educating future physicians.

After earning her Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz, Dr. Ramirez earned a Master of Arts in Sociology, with an emphasis in Health and Illness, from San Jose State University. She subsequently earned her Doctor of Medicine from St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency at Florida Atlantic University.

Following residency, Dr. Ramirez began practicing as a hospitalist and later served as an Aviation Medical Examiner in Florida. She also served as Community Teaching Faculty with Florida State University, where she worked with and mentored medical students. After practicing medicine in Florida for several years, Dr. Ramirez returned to California, where she continues to bring her broad clinical and educational experience to provide comprehensive and culturally sensitive patient care.

When not working, Dr. Ramirez enjoys spending time with family and friends, practicing Pilates, hiking, traveling, and exploring new places.
