About the provider

For Divya Kishore, MD, each patient is more than an image or a diagnosis. She believes in taking a thoughtful, compassionate approach to radiology and in making patients feel heard, respected, and cared for throughout their healthcare journey. Dr. Kishore understands that medical imaging can bring uncertainty or anxiety, and she works to make the experience as comfortable and understandable as possible.

After earning her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine, Dr. Kishore completed her residency in diagnostic radiology at Emory, following a transitional year at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. Her years of training also fostered a passion for teaching and mentoring, experiences that continue to shape the way she works with patients and colleagues today.

Dr. Kishore values collaboration and clear communication. She works closely with physicians and care teams to provide accurate, thoughtful interpretations that help guide each patient's care. Dr. Kishore’s background in research and education has given her a deep appreciation for asking questions, staying curious, and continually looking for ways to improve patient care.

She has presented research at national and international medical conferences on topics including pediatric imaging, patient care, medical education, and sleep medicine. Her work reflects a broad interest in advancing radiology and improving patient care through research and innovation.

Dr. Kishore has been recognized for excellence in patient safety, medical education, leadership, and academic scholarship. Her honors include an Internal Medicine Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Award, recognition for excellence in medical student teaching, and the George H. Handelman Prize for undergraduate leadership at Harvard College.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Kishore enjoys vinyasa yoga, baking, and gardening. She brings the same sense of curiosity and balance to life outside the medical center, where she appreciates spending time pursuing these interests.
