Alison J. Tammany, MD

About the provider

Alison Tammany, MD, specializes in colorectal surgery, robotic surgery and general surgery. She earned her medical doctorate from the Medical College of Georgia in 2015, going on to complete a residency in general surgery at Orlando Regional Medical Center in 2021. Dr. Tammany finished a colorectal fellowship at OhioHealth Grant Medical Center in 2022. She started the Robotic Surgery Program at Salinas Valley Health completing more than 120 cases in the first year of the program’s activation.

Dr. Tammany has extensive research experience and has contributed to numerous scholarly projects and presentations. A longtime volunteer, Dr. Tammany has served in a wide range of capacities from those involving the medical field to Habitat for Humanity to the Red Cross Disaster Action Team.

During her free time, Dr. Tammany enjoys hiking, traveling, camping, golfing, mountain biking, downhill skiing, cooking and reading. She and her husband also appreciate opportunities to walk on the beach with their daughter and dog.
