For more than 65 years we’ve taken pride in keeping Salinas healthy. That’s why we’re proud to support a new healthy living initiative kicking off in our community on June 29.

Salinas Valley Health, Taylor Farms and Montage Health recently joined together to sponsor an effort called the Blue Zones Project, which promotes sustainable, common-sense changes that encourage healthier lifestyles in Monterey County.

Salinas is the first city in Northern California to launch a Blue Zones Project effort, but across the country, 47 communities in 10 states have joined in. Their successes are visible and measurable.

We need the involvement and leadership of everyone in our community to make this initiative a long-term, sustainable success.
